My Work

This blog has been a long time in the making. You see, I’ve always lived my life according to a constant burn for real, first-hand experience. It’s my belief that experience is what defines and shapes an entrepreneur, and that sharing my own stories could help someone else. That’s why, over the last few years, I’ve taken to Twitter to put my musings and philosophies out there. But I never thought this decision would be such a successful one. I never imagined that nearly half a million people would be interested to hear what I have to say on a day-to-day basis! So this blog is just an extension of what I’ve been doing on social media and quite frankly, it’s something my followers have been asking for. This blog is about keeping the conversation going in a way that’s not limited to a 140-character word count.

In the last 15 years of doing business and seeing the world, I’ve learned a lot of lessons the hard way. But there’s one thing I’ve always been certain of, and that’s how entrepreneurs and travelers have a lot to learn from each other. Entrepreneurs have much to gain from experiencing different cultures, also from people like backpackers and travel bloggers who have an obsession with leading unordinary lives. Entrepreneurs are the same; they are always trying to drum up the next new and crazy idea or find ways to think outside the box. I’ve always been both an entrepreneur and traveler, and found myself drawn to these kinds of people. But what I’ve realized is, they have so much in common. They are driven by the same kinds of dreams.

So you can consider this blog something of a travel blog, but through an unconventional set of eyes: the eyes of an entrepreneur. I’ve spent nearly half of my life living overseas from 10 years in Thailand, 4 years in Spain, 1 year in London and almost a year in the Philippines. Now, more recently, I just found out I’ll be spending the next six months in Sri Lanka. This blog will be my most personal online endeavor yet, delving into my lifelong passions of business and travel, but also everything from social media to start-ups, sales and motivation. If you follow me from Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, then you already know exactly what to expect. This is a space that can be enjoyed by fellow globetrotters, entrepreneurs, like-minded individuals and but more simply, anyone who is hungry to create their own reality. I’m proud to say that’s what I’ve done. I’ve found a way to bring my biggest passions together, and I will always be constantly fine-tuning that reality. I firmly believe that anyone can do it with the right mentorship, but also the right attitude.

That’s what I’m here for. Check back regularly for a full spectrum of updates from yours truly, from in-depth articles to fun stuff and interesting tidbits. I promise, you won’t be disappointed!

Love that you state Entrepreneurs have the same outlook as travel bloggers and backpackers. The best quote though is that we all have an obsession with living unordinary lives! #Classic Great start amigo!
